I find it interesting to think about the fine line between our world making sense and then having something being off about it. My surreal environments question how fragile our sanity can be. I juxtapose symbolic forms to create uncanny, otherworldly spaces. Figs symbolize fertility and sensuality and refers to the idea of mating. Pillows represent a gateway into a dreamworld. Such bedroom imagery symbolizes feeling safe, protected, and connected to intimate thoughts. In this space, the body becomes part of nature, decoration, a magnetic moment in time, and a weird creature.
